clearco PSF-0.65cSt Hexamethyldisiloxane(CAS#107-46-0)

PSF‐0.65cSt HMDS Silicone Fluid is a low viscosity Hexamethyldisiloxane (CAS#107‐46‐0)with a viscosity of 0.65cSt @ 25°C.  The fluid is clear, colorless and essentially odorless.  PSF‐0.65cSt possesses the fastest evaporation rate of all silicone fluids, the highest compressibility,the lowest viscosity, and the lowest surface tension.  It is used in a wide array of applicationsthat require a fast evaporating fluid that possesses high Spreadability.   PSF‐0.65cSt HMDS Silicone Fluid is VOC Exempt.  It is an excellent carrying agent replacementfor solvent‐based formulations to attain VOC Compliancy. Unlike acetone, PSF‐0.65cSt iscompatible with the vast majority of surfaces and will not attack plastic, rubber and vinylsurfaces.  In addition, it does not have the strong odor of acetone.PSF‐0.65cSt HMDS is used as a base fluid in a number of personal care products with excellentspreading and unique volatility characteristics. It is formulated in:   skin cream lotions, bathoils, suntan lotions, nail polishes, antiperspirants, deodorants, hair sprays and other beautyand hair care products.
